Beautiful, lustrous, silver disk pendant; 1-5/8" diameter x 3/16" thick with an engraving of Irish (Norse) coinage, dating to about 1020 AD; the letters read "FAEREM MOI DHN" (or variation) which translates as Faerem, moneyer of Dublin.  The moneyer's name was Faeremin and occurs in abbreviation; I believe it is sterling, but have not tested it; marked: "PMM;" fine condition.
