A magnificent handmade sterling bracelet by Tina Rath; incredibly intricate construction: loops of sterling silver move freely back and forth on handwrought "pins;" absolutely delightful when worn; each loop is about 1-5/8" long x 7/8" wide; bracelet is approximately 6-1/2" long (fits smaller size wrist); inscribed: "Tina Rath (in script) and other illegible words; a few of the wires of the loops are bent, otherwise fine condition.

Tina Rath is currently an assistant professor and the program chair of the Jewelry and Metalsmithing department at the Maine College of Art. She has exhibited her work internationally at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam; in the annual Schmuck exhibition, Munich, Germany; and in "Le Porte Object", Nimes, France. She has had numerous exhibitions in the US and her work is in the permanent collections of the Mint Museum of Craft and Design in Charlotte, NC and the Museum of Art and Design in New York as well as many private collections. She has been written about in various publications including Art Jewelry Today by Dona Meilach and Metalsmith Magazine.
